Gift ideas
If nothing here feels right, a donation to a high-impact charity or time together is always welcome.
Intangible things
Gifts of time, effort, and thought mean a lot to me. The care behind it is what makes it special.
- Something you made yourself. In the past, I’ve received things like a crocheted sprite from Spirited Away, embroidered artwork from my favorite movies, and a scarf knitted by hand. They mean a lot to me. Something personal that you spent time making is a wonderful gift.
- A chore or task, completely handled. Something I’ve been avoiding for months because I find it mentally taxing and low priority, like hanging photos or organizing the kitchen. Taking it off my plate entirely would be a huge relief.
- A fun activity together. Plan something to do with me, take care of the details, and pay for my food. Having someone else handle the planning is part of the gift.
Bigger wishes
I tend to buy everyday things as I need them, so the physical gifts on my wish list are mostly bigger purchases. These are things I’m saving toward, and contributions are welcome too.
Please check the exact item or plans with me before purchasing. For clothing and shoes, that includes my size and preferred style or color.
- Blundstone boots.
- Patagonia rain jacket.
- Le Creuset bakeware and kitchen tools.
- Monos luggage set in Terrazzo Graphite.
- A contribution toward an international trip. Help fund a trip I’m excited about, whether that’s toward a flight, a hotel stay, a meal, or a fun night out while I’m there.
- Sony FE 90mm F2.8 Macro G OSS full-frame lens.
